DINING FOR LARGE PARTIES AT UPTOWN CAFE

Consider Uptown Café for your next large party.

1. If you’re considering having a get-together at The Uptown Cafe, we have a special offer for large parties (20 guests or more): a choice of three five-course dinner entrée choices for $24.95.

A. Full-Course Dining


CHOOSE THREE ENTREES: ONE BEEF/PORK, ONE SEAFOOD, AND ONE POULTRY, (OR SUBSTITUTE ONE VEGETARIAN AS A CHOICE).

1. BEEF WELLINGTON -- Tenderloin baked in puff pastry, served with Hollandaise; or
PORK PRIME RIB -- Ancho-roasted pork prime rib, served with a sweet mahogany sauce and whipped potatoes; or
BEEF PRIME RIB -- Perfectly seasoned and roasted beef prime - a Butte favorite!

2. BAKED SOLE -- With fresh garlic, parsley, and seasoned breadcrumbs; or
SOLE IN PARCHMENT -- Baked with fresh vegetables and herbs; or
SALMON MUTARD -- Fresh Pacific salmon, poached and served with a Dijon and cream sauce, or
SALMON BUERRE BLANC -- Served with julienne vegetables and topped with a citrus buerre blanc; or
COQUILLE ST. JACQUES -- Scallops baked with Gruyere cheese and mushrooms.

3. CHICKEN SCALLOPINI -- Boneless breasts sautéed with mushrooms, stock and sherry; or
TARRAGON CHICKEN -- Boneless breasts roasted with white wine, stock and tarragon; or
CHICKEN and CRAB EN CROUTE -- Boneless breast topped with fresh crab, wrapped in puff pastry and baked. Topped with Hollandaise; or
CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA -- Boneless breasts sautéed with prosciutto, provolone and sage.

4. POLENTA NAPOLIAN -- Layers of polenta with zucchini, roasted red bell pepper and goat cheese with a fresh corn cream sauce; or
BANANARAMA CURRY -- A mild curry of bananas, apples, raisins, pecans, almonds, coconut, spices, served with jasmine rice; or
FLORENTINE EN CROUTE -- Creamy spinach and feta cheese baked in a puff pastry shell.

This great deal is for parties of 20 or more guests only, and for three choices only. Dinner, at $24.95 per person (there is an extra charge for alcoholic beverages and an 18% gratuity; sorry no separate checks), includes:

Our two semi-private dining rooms each seat 50. We will gladly close the Café for large parties.

B. - DINING LITE

A choice of two lite dining entrees for $16.95.


DINNER ENTREES: CHOOSE TWO FROM THESE SELECTIONS:

1. BEEF STROGANOFF—An upscale version of the traditonal stroganoff with tender beef over egg noodles or
ROASTED PORK LOIN—Ancho-roasted pork loin served with a sweet mahogany sauce; or
CAJUN SIRLOIN—Six-ounce beef sirloin dusted with Cajun spices & perfectly seared.

2. BAKED SOLE & GULF SHRIMP—topped with cheese & cream sauce; or
BAKED SOLE—with lemon herb crust;
SOLE with VEGETABLE RATATOUILLE—Pan-fried sole with, accompanied by a classic Mediterraneab veggie medley; or
MEXICAN HALIBUT—Tender halibut topped with Monterey Jack cheese & mild chilies; or
PAN-FRIED SOLE—with panko bread crumbs, lemon & our own tartar sauce.

3. TARRAGON CHICKEN—Boneless breasts roasted with white wine, stock & tarragon; or
CHICKEN DIJON—boneless breast saute
éd with shallots, dijon mustard, wine and cream; or
CHICKEN PARMESAN—Boneless breast baked with mozzarella & parmesan cheeses and served with garlic pasta; or
CHICKEN & ARTICHOKES—Boneless chicken breast saute
éd with white wine, chicken stock& marinated artichokes; or
GRILLED CHICKEN ALFREDO—Served with imported fettucine; or
CAJUN CHICKEN PASTA—Imported fettucine with grilled chicken breast tossed with a Cajun cream.

First, choose the entreés you'd like Uptown Cafe to serve. We can offer a hosted or no-host full bar, or just beer/wine, along with dinner. Two weeks prior to the event, we'll need a more accurate guest-count, your guests' entreé choices and a credit card prepayment for half of the party. Uptown Cafe is looking forward to serving you.

PARTY PLAN #2 - CATERING -- BE A GUEST AT YOUR OWN PARTY

Throw your party at the Uptown Cafe (our two dining rooms each seat 50) or anywhere else; we'll do everything, or complement your own recipes and arrangements. A full line of tasty treats from Uptown Cafe is available; pastries, hors d'oeuvres, party platters, even dinner. Everything is made to order.

These suggestions may work well for your party. Call with your ideas and budget. Price includes delivery in Butte, & buffet-style setup. Please call for price on small orders.

French Bread Sandwich—Ham, turkey, or roast beef
Pasta Salad (chef’s choice)

PASTA MEAL—$7.25 (minimum 20)
